Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco singer. Since the age of 13 the singer has been involved in popular flamenco and music. Also, she has explored different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of this young artist as sassy and sweet but with bite. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. The album featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. This set was released March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform on her own in the show. Motomami was her album which won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
